Art Activity i13 – Is Art Sustainable? 4/26/20

  1. Here, I chose my idea towards life sustainability as a whole. I treated life as art. My idea was to show different steps or methods to live the best life as possible. Also, I wanted to represent how some virtual online classes are painful, so we have some hobbies to alleviate that.

2. The materials that I chose was the internet router (the source of WIFI), a snack, plant, chromecast, my xbox one x, and my change. The reason why I chose these items is because without one of those vital items during the current pandemic, there is nearly no way that we will get through the times of the pandemic. Most importantly, if the internet were to go down, then it’s double the trouble because we cannot use the internet to access Netflix to destress ourselves from school, and having no internet access for school is going to be painful because there is no way to communicate between faculty, or classmates for help from homework, especially the majority of the population of students already or if not starting to lose motivation towards finishing the last 2 to 3 weeks of school. Secondarily, without the change that I saved up from the past, I would not able to afford food as well as other necessary things for a living.

3. My piece of sustainable art may get other viewers confused towards why I am posting pictures of stuff.

4. My choice of materials influenced the experience of my artwork by taking pictures of the source of the most important part of which would try to have the society be destressed as well as to be kept busy. For example, I chose to take a picture of my wifi router because it is the most important thing to keep me studying as well as to have access to watch tv during break. My xbox one x influences people to become gamers until the economy reopens because most college students are unable to leave the house with the exception of work, or getting groceries so, might as well let them enjoy gaming while they dealing with a hard time focusing on online classes.

5. A kiss should last for a while.

6. A great meal should last approximately 5 hours.

7. A work of art should last for years.

8. A marriage should last for decades.

9. A human life should last about at least 7 to about 10 decades.

10. Yes.

11. Yes, clean water, air, and land should last for eternity.

12. I doubt that 1 person can cause a drastic change (outlier) to a Climate Change besides the fact that an intermediate animal spread the coronavirus to a human, and then it takes at least 1 host for the coronavirus to infect any amount of people, depending on who has it and if there are any places with huge crowds or not.
